Oliver “Bud” G. Schaub, 82, of Butler, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 5, 1938 in Templeton, the son of the late Oliver Schaub, Sr. and Mary (Kennedy) Schaub.
Bud was a US Army veteran. He was a member of North Main Street Church of God, where he served on the Board of Trustees for over 25 years and also taught Sunday School. He was also a member of New Castle Consistory and the Grove City Cedar Lodge #600. Bud had worked for Snyder and Associated Companies in Kittanning, as a leasing and purchasing agent for 43 years.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Josephine Schaub of Butler; two sons, Danny J. (Kathryn) Schaub of Lebanon, OH and Brian S. Schaub of Butler; 4 grandchildren, Justin Daniel & Nathan Bradley Schaub and Kristen Nicole & Branden Scott Schaub; eight great-grandchildren, Abigail Elizabeth Schaub, Bradley Scott Schaub, Coleman Oliver Schaub, Lillian Isabella Schaub, Jamison Douglas Schaub, Krayson Ozias Schaub, Karson Xavier Schaub and Josephine Carol Schaub and his brother, Jack H. Patton of Widnoon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Perry Douglas Schaub.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
