A Greenville man is facing a list of charges following a stabbing that unfolded earlier this weekend in nearby Mercer County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Troopers were dispatched to UPMC Greenville just before 3am on Saturday (December 28th) regarding a 21-year-old man who had been stabbed in Perry Township.
Authorities say that after interviews with the victim and several witnesses, it was determined that the victim and a 21-year-old Greenville man were allegedly involved in a fight earlier in the evening due to an ongoing feud.
Officials say that the victim was stabbed several times in the back and neck area during the altercation, and the suspect later fled the scene. The victim was transported by friends to the hospital, and was later released
Authorities were able to locate and arrest the Greenville man, who sustained undisclosed injuries in the fight. He faces charges of aggravated and simple assault, among others.
