One person was seriously injured in a two car crash that occurred Friday afternoon in Chicora.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a pickup was making a left hand turn from Flick Alley onto West Slippery Rock Street just before 3pm. Authorities say that the pickup did not have the clearance to make the turn, and struck a second vehicle.
The driver of the pickup, a 31-year-old New Castle woman, suffered serious injuries. She was transported from the scene to Butler Memorial Hospital. The motorist was later flown to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
