Police are providing more information on a crash that injured a couple of people earlier this week.
It happened Wednesday evening around 5:30 p.m. on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.
Police say an unknown driver went into the median and caused a large amount of snow to fly in front of a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Kimberly Crawley of Butler.
Crawley hit her brakes immediately, but that happened as another vehicle was cresting the hill. Police say the unnamed driver of the third vehicle couldn’t stop in time and hit Crawley’s vehicle from behind.
The unnamed driver from Illinois was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for their injuries. The passenger in the vehicle and Crawley both suffered minor injuries but did not need treatment.
The first vehicle that went into the snow fled the scene.
