State police are providing more information on an accident that sent one person to the hospital.
The one vehicle crash happened Sunday around 3:10 p.m. on Route 268 (Kittanning Pike) in Fairview Township.
Police say 61-year-old Slyvia Verzinskie of Emlenton was driving south when she lost control of her while trying to make a turn. Her vehicle spun around and left the road going backwards.
Her car then hit a mailbox, drove through a yard, went airborne, and then went through two more yards before coming to rest.
Verzinskie was injured, but the extent of her injuries are not known. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Police say that the vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
