One person was taken to the hospital after a two vehicle crash yesterday in Winfield Township.
It happened around 6:45 p.m. on Route 356 (North Pike Road) near the intersection with Winfield Road.
Police say 60-year-old Joi Sanford of Vandergrift was driving south when she collided into a car driven by 48-year-old Robert Shelton of Cabot, who’s vehicle was stopped trying to make a left turn.
Sanford suffered a wrist injury and was taken to a nearby hospital by a friend. Shelton had neck whiplash, but did not go to the hospital.
