Police have released more information about a crash last week that sent one person to the hospital.
Wednesday (December 20) Butler Township Police were called to state Route 422 East at the Moraine Pointe exit for a two-vehicle crash. 85-year-old William Slagle of Butler lost control of his vehicle due to icy conditions as he was merging onto Route 422 from the Moraine Pointe exit.
After Slagle lost control, he crashed into 67-year-old Stephen Wilson of Altoona. Slagle’s passenger 64-year-old Nancy Lehman of New Castle was injured in the crash. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
