A snow system that moved in early this morning caused a quick coating of snow on the roads, which prompted nearly all Butler County school districts to operate on a two-hour delay.
The National Weather Service projects that most places in the county will see around an inch, although with the rate of snowfall this morning there are some areas that could see higher totals. But, colder weather is expected to settle in starting tonight.
Friday night’s low is projected at just 3 degrees. Butler will most likely see sunny skies Saturday, but that’s accompanied by chilly temperatures in the upper teens. A Saturday night low of –3 is projected.
