Police have released more information about a fatal shooting in Armstrong County- southeast of Freeport early Monday morning.
According to State Police at the Kittanning barracks, 37-year-old Jonathan Kulick arrived around 3 a.m. Monday at a house in the 600 block of Pitt Street in Leechburg Borough.
He allegedly fired multiple shots into the rear door of the residence to gain entry. Once inside, he fatally shot himself in the head, according to police. Two guns allegedly found at the scene belonged to Kulick.
The State Police Major Case Team received assistance from the Armstrong County Coroner and District Attorney’s office, as well as the Leechburg Borough Police.
