No one was injured in an overnight fire in the City of Butler.
Flames broke out at a duplex in the 200 block of Third Street just before midnight.
Our news partners at WPXI say the fire started on the deck of the second floor, and eventually spread to inside the apartment and attic.
There were two people inside the apartment, but they safely escaped.
Crews were on the scene for about two hours. Most of the damage was done to the second floor apartment—although the first floor apartment did have water damage.
It’s unclear how the fire started.
