Road work just outside of Butler County could have an effect on your evening- or early morning- commute.
PennDOT is doing overnight pavement reflector replacement work in various locations in Allegheny and Lawrence counties this week. Single-lane restrictions will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday, Aug. 9.
The work will occur on:
- I-79 from the I-279 split to the Cranberry/Mars Exit (Exit 78)
- I-579 in the City of Pittsburgh
- Route 8 from the City of Pittsburgh to Butler County
- Route 28 from the Chestnut Street overpass to Tarentum
Crews will also be working on Route 422 in Lawrence County from New Butler Road to Route 19.
