Crews will be taking the next step in the Three Degree Road intersection project this week.
PennDOT officials say that overnight work will begin Monday at 8 p.m. near Mars-Bethal Golf on Route 228 in Middlesex and Adams Townships.
Drivers should expect delays as flaggers will direct traffic to single lane restrictions on Route 228.
Crews will be working on drainage upgrades as part of a nearly $56 million project that also includes side road improvements, the addition of side roads, signal replacement, and ADA ramps.
Work on this part of the project will run until 6 a.m. through Friday while completion of the project as a whole is estimated for next fall.
