As COVID restrictions ease, Pennsylvania business leaders are saying the state is back and ready to go.
Gene Barr is the president and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and he says they are focusing on making the state’s economy even better than it was pre-pandemic.
“Bluntly, no one was happy with what Pennsylvania looked like in February 2020, so bringing Pennsylvania back to February 2020 was simply no sufficient, that we couldn’t do things the same way” Barr said. “And the fact that we should be better.”
A part of their “Bringing Back PA” initiative will be a poll sent to state residents to see how they feel about the Keystone state.
One area of focus is why Pennsylvania is losing population—as the state lost another seat in Congress after the latest census data.
