With the Pennsylvania Farm Show wrapping up this weekend, the half-ton butter sculpture currently on display will not go to waste.
The East Meets West tailgate party sculpture featuring Steelers mascot Steely McBeam and two Philadelphia area mascots will be dismantled and transported to a dairy farm in Juniata County.
Once there, the inedible butter will be converted into renewable energy to power the farm using a methane digester.
The 90-minute deconstruction process will begin Sunday morning with assistance from students with the Dauphin County 4-H Exchange Club.
