Pennsylvania Republican leaders are vowing to sue as soon as Wednesday to fight the implementation of a new court-drawn congressional map.
It’s unclear whether the opponents to Monday’s Supreme Court-imposed redistricting can make a strong enough case to convince a federal court to overturn the map, or at least delay it from taking effect this spring.
President Trump tweeted Tuesday urging Pennsylvania Republicans to challenge the new map all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The new map breaks Butler County into three congressional districts.
