A group of Pennsylvania lawmakers are taking another step in their opposition of the sale of United States Steel.
Yesterday we told you that Senators Bob Casey and John Fetterman were against the sale of U.S. Steel to Japan-based Nippon Steel.
Now the two senators and Congressman Chris Deluzio have written a joint letter to U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen arguing she should block the sale.
They say the acquisition would “would be a step backwards in our commitment to supply chain integrity and economic security.”
