Pamela K. Dunn Raisley, age 65, of Frederick, Colorado, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, after a seven year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. In her final days, she was surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 9, 1957 in Grove City, Pa; she was the only daughter and 3rd child of the late Raymond and Marjorie Dunn. She grew up and Harrisville, PA and graduated from Slippery Rock High School where she met the love of her life, Charles W. Raisley of Portersville, PA. Chuck and Pam were married at the Portersville Presbyterian Church on August 29, 1975.
She dedicated 28 years of her life to the Slippery Rock Area School District. She was deeply committed to her role in the school and enjoyed attending and working all the sporting events.
She was an avid lover of music, camping, and spending time with her loved ones.
She was a member of the Grove City Alliance Church where she sang in the choir.
Pam is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles Raisley of Frederick, CO, her eldest son Larry (Sara) Raisley of Boulder, CO, her daughter Tracy (Matthew) Raisley Starr of Frederick, CO, her youngest son Andrew (Vanessa) Raisley of Cranberry Twp., PA; her three brothers Terry (Devota) Dunn, Timothy (Jenny) Dunn, Mark Dunn, and her seven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday March 2, 2023, 4pm to 7pm, at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect, PA. The memorial service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11am in the Raisley Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Meling, officiating.
Private interment will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler, PA.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
