A man from Parker is facing nearly a dozen years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of children charges.
Department of Justice officials say an investigation began into 41-year-old Thomas Robert Hawk for possession and having sexually explicit photos of young children.
Hawk had previously been convicted for receiving child sexual abuse material. As part of his plea deal, Hawk will serve 11 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release.
Hawk will remain in prison before his official sentencing date in August.
