A man from Parker has been sentenced after pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of children charges.
Department of Justice officials say that 42-year-old Thomas Robert Hawk will serve 11 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release for possession of sexually explicit photos of young children.
According to an investigation by the FBI, from August of 2021 to May of 2022, Hawk possessed digital files of images and videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit content.
Hawk had previously been convicted for receiving child sexual abuse material.
