Over 900 people across the Commonwealth will receive Christmas gifts as state officials continue the Holiday Wish Program.
Governor Tom Wolf joined other state officials in Harrisburg to package gifts to be shipped to children and seniors across Pennsylvania.
“This is the 30th year that employees at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have been doing this,” Wolf said. “We want to make sure that kids and seniors all around the state have a gift to open on Christmas Day.”
The families and older adults sponsored for the Holiday Wish Program were identified by a senior citizen complex serving older adults in need and caseworkers at county assistance offices across the state.
