The leader of the State System of Higher Education is providing more details on how the school merger will take place.
Last week, the PASSHE Board of Governor voted to integrate Clarion, California, and Edinboro into one institution and keep the campuses open. PASSHE Chancellor Dan Greenstein says that current students won’t see much of an impact.
“This is a very deliberately slow and intentional process. And most students, I think, won’t see or feel the impacts for a couple of years ,and arguably even beyond many students won’t see any significant difference,” Greenstein said.
He added that the focus over the rest of the year is to put a leadership team and organizational chart for the merger, along with establishing more detailed curriculum design and technology integration.
