Patricia A. Green of Butler, PA who has a great love of life did not come to end with her death. She passed peacefully on to be with the Lord on June 18th at the age of 85 after a long courageous battle with cancer: her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She married the love of her life Regis B. Green, November 16, 1957. He predeceased her on October 18th, 2020 after 63 years together. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and true friend to many.
The daughter of Bernard and Mary Stillwagon of New Castle PA. A graduate of New Castle High School. Actively involved with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, past-president of Butler Baseball Association, past-president of Butler Intermediate League and a member of the Christian mothers. She enjoyed many faucets of crafting, needlework, puzzles, cards and bingo. As an avid supporter of many charities throughout her life, she was always wanting to make the world a better place.
The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Patricia. She especially loved spending time with her family. Making sure to have family gatherings and special dinners. An amazing, cook and hostess, she was always up for any reason to gather her family together. Her devotion and love of her faith, family and friends could be seen in every aspect of her life. A woman of great strength who has led the family throughout their lives giving unending love and support so we could all be our best.
A lifelong devout catholic, she had a beautiful relationship with the Lord. A member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church. She had lived a good rich life and has left her family and friends with many wonderful memories. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors are her five children, Regis M. Green (Lisa) of Freeport, PA, Stephen P. Green (Marsha) of Butler, PA, Linda Cipolla-Snow (Melvin) of Butler, PA, Karen M. Eaton of Harrisburg, PA and Cynthia L. Collins (Paul) of Butler, PA.
Thirteen grandchildren Matt, Tara, Brittany, Bret, Ashlee, Tom, Kelly, Michael, Adam, Paul, Regis, Victoria and David.
Five great grandchildren, Taylor, Waylon, Leo, Noah and Paul.
Also surviving are one brother Robert Stillwagon (Sherri) of Chicora, PA and one sister, Mary Jean Shumaker (Dan) of Karn City, PA.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm Wednesday at All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St. Butler, PA 16001. Entombment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
