Patricia A. Vernick, 81, of Butler, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on June 16, 1943, in Geneva, OH, to the late John and Adela (Washner) Natko.
Patricia graduated from Geneva High School in 1961. She then earned a Bachelor’s of Theology from Life Christian University in Florida. Patricia was a Co-Founder and Pastor at Glad Tidings Tabernacle, in Butler, PA, along with her late husband, Reverend John A. Vernick; she also worked at United States Investigation Services, in Boyers, PA, where she worked until retiring. Patricia enjoyed reading and studying her Bible; worshipping her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; gardening and spending time outdoors; working on various house projects; as well as spending time with her loving family and pet dogs, Casey and Koda.
Patricia is survived by her two sons, John G. (Susan) Vernick and Robert A. (Sharon) Vernick; her daughter, Cheryl A. (David) Stebick; her grandchildren, John Andrew Vernick, Anna Vernick, Lauren Vernick, Benjamin Vernick, Robert Vernick, Timothy Vernick, Alexis Stebick, Aaron Stebick, Tyler Stebick, and Jeremy Stebick; her nephew, Scott Cone; her two nieces, Teri Hackathorn and Linda Juratovac; as well as her cousin, Sandy Phelps.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Reverend John A. Vernick, whom she married on September 15, 1962, and who passed away on June 12, 1990; her grandson, Daniel Stebick; as well as her sister, Nancy Incorvati.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001, with Pastor Steve Noullet, of Butler Assembly of God Church, officiating.
A Committal Service and Interment will then take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
