A large crowd gathered last night to say goodbye to a longtime Butler establishment.
The Lyndora Hotel officially closed its doors after more than 100 years in operation.
Patrons packed the downstairs bar taking in one more drink, order of wings, or the hot sausage sandwich.
The Pawk family, which has owned the Lyndora Hotel since the 1940s, said they tried to sell the restaurant to a local group, but could not find an interested party.
The liquor license was purchased by a Sheetz gas station in Harrisville.
