Patty N. Aites, 77, of Butler, went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon, April 19, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Patty was born in Cadogan on December 26, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Ernest C. and Alma M. Wilson Aites.
She was a 1959 graduate of Ford City High School. Patty had been employed at Butler Memorial Hospital at Central Sterile, retiring following 45 years of service.
Patty was a member of Family Life Ministries Church of God of Prophecy, Butler. She enjoyed the company of her dog, PJ and her cat, Snowball.
Surviving are four siblings, Veda M. Burdett and her husband, Wendell, of Ford City, Richard N. “Dick” Aites and his wife, Judy, of Mansfield, OH, Nancy K. Aites of Butler, and Carol C. Hutchinson and her husband, Bruce of Grasonville, MD, as well as 13 nieces and nephews, as well as a number of great nieces and nephews, and cousins. Also surviving are her special friends and caretakers, Tiffany Yute and Karen Daniels.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald E. Aites and Virgil C. Aites and his wife, Mary Louise; a niece and a nephew.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 – 11 a.m. Monday at Family Life Ministries Church of God of Prophecy, 932 Mercer Rd., Butler, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Pastor Robert Hile Jr., church pastor, assisted by the Rev. Tom Kelley of The Church of God. Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery.
