Paul Andres, 98, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 4, 2018 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born February 27, 1920 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late John Andras and the late Mary Bobak Andras.
Paul worked in the installing and repairing departments for the Culligan Water Conditioning of PA, Inc for over. 30 years before retiringHe was a member of the NRA. and the Butler Hunting and Fishing Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by one son, Dean (Mona) Andres of Butler, PA; one daughter, Lynda Andres of Butler, PA; two grandchildren, Tamara (Aaron) Elliott, Terry Andres; four great grandchildren; one brother, Edward Andres of Detroit, MI; one sister, Martha Heichel of Elyria, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Andres whom he married on April 15, 1943 and who passed away on September 20, 2010; four brothers, Mike Andras, John Andres, Joseph Andres, and Benjamin Andras, four sisters, Mary Becher, Ann Bechek, Sue Martenson and Bessie Fair.
There will be no public visitation.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. with , Rev. Brandon Lenhart of North Main Street Church of God, officiating.
Entombment took place in the Butler County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Main St. Church of God, 1201 North Main Street Extension, Butler, PA 16001.
