A local man is facing charges after police stopped him while operating a pedalcycle last week in Slippery Rock.
According to the State Police in Butler, a 31-year-old man was operating his pedalcycle on Kiester Road just after midnight last Saturday (December 28th) when he was stopped by police for not having a rear reflector that was visual from 500 feet.
Authorities say that the man was showing signs of impairment, and was found to have a DUI suspension. He was later taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood draw.
Charges are pending at this time.
