A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at a busy Butler intersection Monday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 3 p.m. for a pedestrian hit at the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Pillow Street.
Witnesses state that the vehicle that hit the person immediately pulled off the road to check on the person. It appeared as though the person who was hit may have been an employee of the Speedway convenience store nearby.
The pedestrian was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of arm and leg injuries as well as a small head injury. It is not known if charges will be filed as a result of this incident.
