A Grove City woman is recovering after she was struck by a vehicle late last week in neighboring Mercer County.
According to State Police, 51-year-old Vickie Eakman was walking her dog along Enterprise Road in Pine Township just before 8am on Friday (February 24th) when she was struck by an SUV driven by 34-year-old George Downs of Grove City.
Authorities say that Eakman suffered undisclosed injuries in the incident, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Officials say that Eakman was in stable condition on Friday.
