Peggy I. Suchonic, 88, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 10, 2018.
She was born February 12, 1930 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Colonel E. Edmiston and the late Helen M. Dickson Edmiston.
Peggy was a member of Grace @ Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was very active within the church.
Peggy is survived by three daughters, Cindy Stivason of Butler, PA, Pamela (Joseph) Furka of Butler, PA, Billie Jo (Robert) Wiest of Butler, PA; six grandchildren, Dawn (Gordon) Hartman, Derek Furka, Courtney (Chris) Windham, Brett Wigton, Tyler Wiest, Amanda Wiest; five great grandchildren, Michael Hartman, Emily Hartman, Connor Wigton, Chloe Windham, Cameron Windham; a number of nieces and nephews; and three sister-in-laws.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Suchonic whom she married on June 26, 1951 and who passed away on October 1, 2004, one daughter, Rebecca Wigton, one son-in-law, Pete Stivason; and one brother, William Edmiston.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 11:00 am at the Grace @ Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 123 East Diamond Street Butler, PA, with Pastor Tara R. Lynn, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Butler Meals on Wheels, 218 E. Jefferson St., Butler, PA 16001.
