The Seattle Kraken defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2 last night in the final game of the Pens five-game home-stand. The Pens carried a 2-1 lead into the third period, before Seattle scored three times in the final period. Tristan Jarry stopped 14 of 17 shots in net for the Penguins. Seattle scored an empty net goal late.
The Penguins saw the return of Evgeni Malkin and Michael Bunting to their lineup last night, but still lost for the eighth time in 10 games. They begin a seven-game road trip in Buffalo Friday night.
