The Pittsburgh Penguins lost 3-2 in a shoot-out to the Chicago Blackhawks last night. The Pens fell behind 2-0 into the third period before rallying to tie the game. Center Jeff Carter scored both goals for the Pens. Former Penguin goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury won just his second game in nine starts for Chicago, stopping 42 of 44 shots. Tristan Jarry stopped 30 of 32 shots in regulation for the Pens. The Blackhawks scored twice in the shoot-out after a scoreless overtime period.
The Pens are now 4-3-4 overall and return home to host Florida Thursday night. The Panthers are off to an NHL-best 10-2-1 start.
