The Pittsburgh Penguins won their third game in a row last night after a 5-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues. Defenseman Ryan Graves scored his first goal of the season which gave the Pens an early 1-0 lead in the first period, and two newly-acquired players also scored their first goals for the Pens. Rickard Rakell scored twice, including an empty-net goal in the final 10-seconds. He now has 31 goals this season. Goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped 33 of 36 shots. Two of the goals he allowed were on Blues power plays.
The Pens host the New Jersey Devils Saturday. Face-off is 3pm at PPG Paints Arena. Pre-game on WISR begins at 2:30pm.
