There’s still time for farm operators to sign up for a free program focusing on providing agritourism activities to the public.
Penn State Extension is offering the Agritourism Project which is funded by the USDA’s Extension Risk Management Education program.
Organizers will use geographic information systems to examine regional spending trends and consult with farm operators in one-on-one discussions about new agritourism ventures.
Those interested should apply to be selected through Penn State Extension’s website before Wednesday.
