Penn State Extension continues to offer opportunities to learn online, particularly about items of relevance during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
One webinar on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. is titled “Helping Children Through the Disruption”. Extension educators will lead a discussion about strategies and resources available to caregivers. There is no cost to participate.
A webinar planned to begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday will focus on “Creating Recipes with Food Safety in Mind”. This free program will teach participants about best practices involving food safety prompts.
On Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. Penn State Extension will feature a webinar about alternative places and methods to find food when local grocery stores are experiencing shortages. In addition to providing information about the food supply chain, this free program will share tools and resources for connecting with local producers.
Penn State Extension is also offering an annual subscription based service for agricultural businesses called Under the Ground that deals with marketing strategies. Program subscription begins June 15th and the registration deadline for this series is Friday.
