An online event scheduled for later this week will provide information for those looking to become more self-sufficient in producing mushrooms or vegetables.
Penn State Extension is offering a webinar on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. titled “Living on a Few Acres: Mushroom and Vegetable Production”.
Webinar participants will learn about garden planning and pest management strategies to help beginning producers expand knowledge and skills as well as best practices for cultivation and harvesting.
A $5 registration fee accompanies this event and pre-registration to receive the link to the live webinar is required by visiting the Penn State Extension website.
