The Penn State University football team beat Memphis in the 2019 Cotton Bowl on Saturday, winning by a final of 53-39.
Nittany Lion Journey Brown ran for 202 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. Noah Cain added 92 yards and two scores on 15 carries. PSU finishes the year with an overall record of 11-2.
The FBS semifinals were also featured on Saturday. In the Fiesta Bowl, #3 Clemson defeated #2 Ohio State by a final of 29-23. As for the Peach Bowl, #1 LSU defeated #4 Oklahoma by a final of 63-28. Clemson and LSU will meet up in the National Championship on January 13th.
