Classic car owners and enthusiasts will be looking to other events this year as a popular Penn Township event has been canceled.
The Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department Mega Cruise that regularly takes place at the beginning of July at the Pittsburgh Butler Regional Airport will not be held in 2025.
According to a Township administrator, the reason for this decision is that the airport is not able to host and no other suitable venue has been found.
The department would like to see the event return in 2026 but that will be determined at a later date.
