The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is still accepting proposals for transportation projects as part of the Public-Private Partnership program.
The private sector unsolicited proposal period applies to PennDOT-owned projects and infrastructure such as roads, bridges, rail, aviation, and ports as well as management of transportation-related programs.
Under the state’s P3 law, PennDOT can partner with private companies to participate in transportation projects. A seven member Public Private Transportation Partnership Board will examine and approve potential public-private project proposals.
The deadline to apply is tomorrow, Monday, October 31st. Visit the state’s P3 website for more information.
