A longtime Pennsylvania Department of Transportation employee is taking over as the next top administrator of the western region.
Brian Allen has been appointed to the position of District Executive where he will be responsible for overseeing all functions of PennDOT District 10 which includes Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana, and Jefferson Counties.
Allen is a graduate of Penn State University and has been with PennDOT’s District 10 for 28 years in various positions, most recently as Assistant District Executive for Maintenance.
Allen succeeds Joseph Dubovi who retired after 35 years with PennDOT.
