The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing a couple road projects around the Butler County area this week.
The first project involves the closure of the exit ramps to Jefferson Street and Mitchell Hill Road on Route 68 in Butler will be closed intermittently beginning Wednesday at 8 p.m. through Monday, September 28th to allow for pavement reconstruction with asphalt.
Also, PennDOT will be replacing a failing pipe on Lardintown Road between Anderson Road and Hidden Hill Road on Wednesday. Traffic will be directed by flaggers from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should expect delays and use an alternative route if possible.
