The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation would like to know about driving behaviors of motorists state-wide.
PennDOT is seeking input from motorists through their annual brief, online Highway Safety Survey in order to adjust safety activities with the goal of reducing crashes and fatalities.
Nearly 8,000 people responded to last year’s survey. Notably, over 90% of respondents said they always wear a seat belt and about 88% of respondents said they never drive while impaired. Nearly 84% admitted to exceeding the speed limit at least some of the time.
The survey is available on PennDOT’s website through August 23rd and should take about five minutes to complete. All responses, including the “comments” fields, are anonymous.
