Even though fall has just begun, PennDOT leaders are getting ready for the winter season by looking for more workers.
A briefing was held earlier this week detailing the work that goes into winter preparations and the need for more staff.
Officials say they are looking to fill 600 temporary equipment operators this winter across the state.
Locally, Butler County’s PennDOT facility on New Castle Road is hosting a job fair on October 19th from 3 to 7 p.m.
People can apply, interview, and even road test during the hiring event.
More info can be found on PennDOT’s website.
