The public is invited to learn more this week about a big project to improve bridges in Adams Township.
PennDOT will provide updates on current plans for the Callery Group Bridge Project beginning Monday and continuing through February 5.
The proposed project includes the replacement of the bridge that carries Kline Avenue over Breakneck Creek. The current 40-foot long concrete arch bridge will be replaced with a steel rolled beam bridge. Traffic will be detoured using state roads.
This project also involves the replacement of the bridge that carries Mars Evans City Road over a tributary to Breakneck Creek. The current 12-foot steel pipe culvert will be replaced with a concrete box culvert. Traffic will be maintained using temporary traffic signals.
Available information will include project status, schedule, design, and right of way acquisition. PennDOT representatives will also be available for questions. The plans will be made available online only through PennDOT’s District 10 website due to COVID-19 mitigation efforts.
