Pennsylvania is expanding who is now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Deputy Secretary of Health Cindy Findley said at a press conference today that people over the age of 65 and those with comorbidities in the age range of 16 to 64 are now eligible to receive the vaccine.
Findley says this move aligns with new federal guidance.
She says if you’re interested in getting registered for the vaccine, a map listing providers that are administering the vaccine is now available online. We have that link here.
Findley also added that the supply of vaccine isn’t large right now for the state and that it will be a couple of weeks before more phases are included in the vaccine rollout.
*Correction: A previous post said 75 or older. Eligibility is for anyone 65 and older.
