Those interested in getting an up-close look at Pennsylvania’s wildlife without leaving the comforts of home have even more chances to do so courtesy of the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
A new livestream has been launched at a site in Monroe County where a female black bear is denned with her cubs. The den is located beneath the deck of a cabin, in the same place and with possibly the same bear as was part of a livestream two years ago. At least one cub is believed to be in the den and will likely stay until April.
A Snow Goose Cam gives a real-time look at what is happening inside the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area. This is a popular spot and time of year for snow geese and other migrating waterfowl. The Game Commission also operates two Eagle Cams.
These livestreams can be accessed through the website of the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
