A local man has been promoted to a new position in the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
State Game Warden and Butler native Jacob Olexsak will transition to the position of Conservation Administration Supervisor where he will supervise Game Wardens in multiple counties as well as perform other administrative duties.
Olexsak will be responsible for overseeing the budget for the Northwest Region as well as maintaining the vehicle fleet and supervising the dispatch center.
Olexsak is a graduate of Butler Area Senior High School as well as Butler County Community College where he obtained an Associate Degree in Parks and Recreation Management. After being named a Game Warden in 2010, Olexsak spent time in Western Crawford County before transferring to Butler County in 2018.
