In a week of inaugurations in Harrisburg, another milestone is set to happen today.
Judge Debra Todd will officially be named as the Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, making her the first female to hold the position in the court’s 300-year history.
The Ellwood City native was a resident of Cranberry before moving to the City of Pittsburgh recently.
Todd was first elected to the state Superior Court in 1999 and the Supreme Court in 2007.
