The Penguins will have Rickard Rakell back in the lineup tonight after he missed the game in Los Angeles Monday night. Rakell leads the Penguins with 23 goals this season.
Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas said the rumors of the team planning a “fire-sale” of players is not true. Dubas visits with Penguins broadcaster Josh Getzoff twice a week during the season, and listening in – was heard denying the team is actively looking to move any players despite other reports in the area over the last week. The Penguins have 15 games remaining before the NHL trade deadline in March. Dubas said the Penguins have not offered any players to other teams and at the same time offering to retain salaries.
