The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the Calgary Flames 2-1 in overtime last night. It was the first time the Pens have picked up a point in the backend of back-to-back games this season. Tristan Jarry started in goal last night for the Pens, and stopped 32 of 34 shots. Patric Hornqvist scored the lone Penguins goal. The game was scoreless until Calgary netted a power play goal with just over four minutes remaining in the game. When the Pens pulled goaltender Jarry for an extra attacker, Hornqvist scored with just over a minute remaining in the game to force the overtime.
The Pens complete their road trip tomorrow night in Vancouver. Face-off is 10pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 9:30pm. The Pens return home Tuesday, but four of their next six games are on the road.
